This fascinating talk, available to groups such as local history societies, The Womens’ Institute and U3As, charts the development of the medieval English parish church from the earliest foundation of the parish to the construction of towers, aisles and clerestories in the later Middle Ages.
The talk lasts approximately one hour and is fully illustrated with colour digital slides of churches, both inside and out!
The cost of the talk is £60. I am happy to include travel within a ten mile radius of York, North Yorkshire. For travel further afield, I would ask for a contribution towards travelling expenses in addition to the fee.
